This booklet is the first of two small volumes[1] designed to set the context, in two fundamental ways, of the plan of life and salvation, so that the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ can better be seen in its true and comprehensive light. What a person sees often depends on the orientation of his thought––where he stands, and the direction he looks. The fascinating task of collecting facts is one thing; however, the arraignment of the facts––the context in which they are set and how they are made to relate and apply to each other and related facts in the big picture of life––is quite another. It is hoped that these two volumes will help the Gospel student orient his or her thinking in ways by which the plan of life and salvation can best be seen in its clearest and most mature light.
It is also hoped that the evidence presented in these two volumes on the divine and eternal plan of life and salvation will help the reader set gospel views in clear contrast to man-made theories that directly or indirectly deal with the nature, origin, and purposes of life.
